Here are just a few examples of the many ways you can get involved with Cumberland County Schools (CCS) and make a meaningful impact:

School-Based Volunteering

  • Classroom Support: Assist teachers with activities, prep materials, or help create a positive learning environment.

  • Tutoring: Provide one-on-one or small group tutoring sessions to support students in their academic success.

  • Reading Buddy: Share your love of reading by spending time with students to improve their literacy skills.

Mentoring

  • Student Mentor: Build a lasting, supportive relationship with a student, guiding them through their academic and personal journey.

  • Group Mentoring: Lead or support group mentoring sessions focused on specific skills or topics to help students thrive.

Supply Donations

  • Classroom Supplies: Donate essential items like pencils, notebooks and art materials to help students succeed.

  • Teacher Resources: Contribute books, educational games, or technology tools to enhance teachers’ instructional experiences.

  • Clothing Donations: Provide clothing items such as socks and shirts for students in need.

Financial Contributions

Career and Technical Education
