A Joint Meeting will be held on Tuesday, April 8, 2025, at 2:00 p.m. between the following entities: Fayetteville City Council, Cumberland County Commissioners, Cumberland County Sheriff's Office, and the Cumberland County Board of Education. The purpose of this meeting is to discuss the School Resource Officer and Traffic Control Officer Agreement. As a quorum of the Cumberland County Board of Education is anticipated to be present, this notice also serves as an official Notice of a Special Meeting of the Board of Education, in accordance with G.S. 143-318.12.
Public seating will be available; however, capacity is limited, and this meeting will not be live-streamed. The meeting will take place on the campus of Fayetteville Technical Community College, in the Tony Rand Student Center, located at 2220 Hull Road, Fayetteville, NC 28303, in the Multi-Purpose Room.
