As today is an asynchronous remote learning day for students, we want to make you aware of a technical issue that may impact access to assignments.
Overnight, our email server went down due to weather conditions, affecting several district applications, including Canvas—our online learning platform where students access assignments. This issue also impacts assignments that may be shared through Google Suite.
While some users can check their email on their phones, many are experiencing difficulties logging in on their computers. Please know that CCS officials and our technology partners are working quickly to resolve this issue. Although we do not have an estimated completion time, we will share updates as we learn more.
Students will not be penalized for being unable to access their assignments, and we will work with them to ensure they have enough time to complete their work.
