Cumberland County Schools would like to inform all parents and guardians of recent changes to the 2024 annual immunization compliance and health assessment requirement deadline, as authorized by Executive Order 319.

Because of this order, the timeframe from the first day of attendance until October 31, 2024, will not count toward the 30-day grace period for students to meet the state’s immunization requirements. The 30-day grace period will officially begin on November 1, 2024, with a final exclusion date set for December 1, 2024.

If your student was dismissed for non-compliance, they can return to school immediately. Please ensure your child’s immunizations are up to date before the new deadline.
