Student Code of Conduct, "A Blueprint for Student Character, Wellness and Support"
We are excited to share that Cumberland County Schools has introduced a new Student Code of Conduct, "A Blueprint for Student Character, Wellness and Support," for the 2024-2025 school year. This guide is designed to help our students succeed by providing clear behavioral expectations and valuable resources for support.
Did You Know?
The new Code of Conduct includes a comprehensive resource directory with contacts for mental health support, including the 988 Suicide and Crisis Lifeline and the Alongside Student Mental Health App.
Our updated Code emphasizes positive behavioral interventions and supports, promoting social-emotional learning to help students thrive.
CCS is committed to trauma-sensitive schools and restorative practices to create an equitable and inclusive environment for all students.
The Code outlines clear expectations and responsibilities for students, families, teachers and principals to foster a positive school climate.
The guide includes recommendations for seeking support for academic, behavioral and mental health issues, ensuring every student has access to get the help they need.
We encourage you to review the new Code of Conduct with your child. It is available on our website at https://tinyurl.com/3p5n26t5. Should you have any questions, please contact your child’s school.
