General Announcements

  • A school parking decal is required on all vehicles located on campus. The cost of a parking permit is $50.00. The decal is to be hung from the rearview mirror. EVERY VEHICLE MUST HAVE A 2024-2025 PARKING DECAL DISPLAYED DAILY.

  • All drivers MUST use the area assigned by the school for student parking. Students may park in the teacher’s parking lot after 4:00 P.M. Do not park in the teacher’s parking lot for any reason before 4:00 P.M. 

  • Any student having four (4) unexcused check-ins per semester will have their parking privileges revoked.  Their decal will be pulled and turned in to the administration. 

  • Dress Codes and Tardies WILL be enforced starting Sept. 3!

School Hours:  8:30-3:40 p.m.

8:10-8:20 a.m.

You have two choices upon entering the building in the morning:  

        CHOICE #1:  Go to the GYM 

        CHOICE #2:  Go to the Cafeteria to eat breakfast

The bell will ring at 8:20 a.m. to release you from the gym and cafeteria to go to class.  

Classes begin at 8:30 a.m.

Bus Information

Bus Routes have designated stops.  Students will NOT always be picked up/dropped off in front of their house (it is very rare that stops are directly in front of houses).  

If you need your bus information, email Ms. Mitchell. 

Ms. Mitchell will also be at all four lunches to provide bus information.  If you have early release and need bus information, see Ms. Mitchell prior to leaving campus.

A BUS CONTRACT FOR ALL STUDENTS MUST BE ON FILE FOR THE 24-25 SCHOOL YEAR.


Student Clubs/Organizations

  • 3D Design & Modeling - Meets after school on Fridays in the FTS STEAM Center 3D Lab. Learn how to use professional-grade CAD, operate 3D printers, and the principles of design. Club ends at 5 pm. Direct all questions to Mr. Blazo in room 52!

  • D&D Club - Come out and play the world’s greatest roleplaying game! A dwarf who has a collection of rocks from around the world who has a goblin best friend? A halfling who is seeking to avenge his village that was destroyed by a dragon? We’ll be meeting in Mr. Blazo’s room (52) on Wednesdays until 5:00 pm. For more information check with Mr. Blazo (room 52) and Mr. Thompson (room 30).

  • Speech & Debate Team - Terry Sanford is rebooting our Speech and Debate Team this year. Team member practices and meetings are on Tuesday and Thursday afternoons. We have openings for solo debate, team debate, individual events for Drama and Humor AND student Congressional debate. We compete on weekends at local regional school tournaments and bring home trophies! All interested students should speak with Mr Thompson in Room 30. 

  • AMP Club / All Music People - We rock the campus! Come together with other students who love music like you do to put on shows and performances on campus. We need musicians, artists for cool concert posters, and helpful stagehands to pick stuff up and put it down carefully. You don’t have to play an instrument and you don’t have to sing! You choose your own level of involvement. This is not Band, this is not Orchestra. AMP Club is an organic and informal music experience meant to enhance campus life and put student musicians together to perform shows for us, by us. Meetings are 1st and 3rd Fridays of each month. See Mr Thompson in Room 30 and get plugged in.

  • Empowerment Club. - We are an organization dedicated to making sure no young person feels alone or helpless in their depression. Our focus is on creating a supportive community and raising awareness about mental health and mindfulness. Come be a part of our mutual support group to meet like-minded friends and help each other out with issues that are important to us and our well-being. Activities and service projects planning are available. Meetings will be held every 2nd and 4th Friday with Mr Thompson in Room 30.

  • HOSA-Future Health Professionals- Are you passionate about healthcare and ready to make a difference in the world? HOSA is the perfect opportunity for you to connect with like-minded individuals, gain valuable experience, and develop the skills necessary for a successful career in health professions.

  • Key Club - Do you need volunteer hours? Love to help others? Key Club is a student-led organization focused on service. We do car washes, make dog toys, host color runs, go on trips, and much more. There's many opportunities to get leadership positions, meet like-minded individuals, and gain volunteer hours (these hours count for Global Studies too)! Meetings are Wednesdays, 3:45-4:30 in the Media Center.

  • International Travel Opportunity (9th-11th graders) for the 2024-2025 school year.
