Inclement Weather Update
At this time, schools will operate on a normal schedule tomorrow, Tuesday, January 21. However, out of an abundance of caution, all afterschool and athletic events scheduled for tomorrow are canceled. With temperatures expected to be very cold, we encourage families to dress children warmly and bundle them up for the weather. We are closely monitoring the forecast for Wednesday, January 22, due to the potential for inclement weather in Cumberland County. If there are any changes to the district’s schedule, a ParentLink message will be sent, and updates will be shared on the district’s website and social media pages by early tomorrow afternoon. The safety of our students, staff, and their families remains the district’s top priority. Thank you for your attention, and please stay safe and warm.

PFHS Students, please remember to vote for Coming Home Spirit Days. Dr. McDonald sent a google form to ALL students last week on Wednesday, January 8. Please have them search for it in their email and vote. As of yesterday we had less than 300 responses. There will only be 3 spirit days (Tuesday, January 28, Wednesday, January 29 and Thursday, January 30) which is why they are only voting for ONE.

The holiday season is here! A time for giving and sharing cheer and here, at PFHS, FBLA is hosting a toy drive for Howard Hall Elementary. We want to collect as many toys as possible! This may be the only toy a child receives during the holiday season. We are asking that the toy be no more than $20.00 and that the toy be appropriate for an elementary student (no harmful materials used in the making of toys). Toys must also be new or wrapped in wrapping paper and in good condition. You can drop the toy(s) off at Mr. Owens's room 258 or in Mrs. Outlaw's room G-4. We are collecting toys until December 13, 2024. Thank you all for your support!
