Every 26 seconds a student drops out of school in the United States.  That translates to 7,000 students per day, and 1.2 million per year nationwide.  The staff, parents, and community stakeholders of Cumberland County Schools are committed to decreasing the number of students who dropout of school, and increasing the graduation rate.  This is the first in a series of public service announcements designed to raise awareness about dropout prevention.
