The Cumberland County Schools (CCS) has more than 6,300 employees who work hard every day for students throughout the school system. Because what they do is valued, an effort is being made to seek out businesses and community members who share in this appreciation. The CCS’ Work Perks program offers businesses in the Community who share exclusive discounts and incentives to CCS’ Employees, FREE advertising on the CCS’ Intranet Portal and on Edmodo (the school system’s internal social media).

Note: If, during the year, your business holds a special event or promotion for educators, e.g., Teacher Appreciation Week, Administrative Professionals Week, Educational Bosses Week, etc., businesses are encouraged to make CAPR aware so that CCS’ employees can be informed of this opportunity.
Q. Is participation guaranteed?
The CCS shall prohibit the electronic distribution or display of any publication or material that (a) is vulgar, indecent or obscene; (b) contains libelous statements, personal attacks or abusive language such as language defaming a person’s character, race, religion, ethnic origin, gender, family status, or disability; (c) causes or clearly threatens to cause a material and substantial disruption of a school activity; (d) encourages the commission of unlawful acts or the violation of lawful school regulations; or (e) contains information that is inaccurate, misleading or false.
