Continuous Improvement Survey for Parents

Cumberland County Schools (CCS) is committed to success for all children and has adopted a “true north” philosophy. To achieve our goal, CCS believes in an ongoing, continuous improvement process. We would like to hear from you. The district invites you to participate in an online survey that will be available until Tuesday, January 22 as one method of reaching all stakeholders. If you need a survey in a different language, you may complete the survey in the main office at your child’s school.

Your feedback is important to us. With your input we are able to make decisions to improve our schools. Your cooperation and support in completing the survey will be greatly appreciated.

Because our terminology is slightly different than that used in the premade surveys, please note the following as you complete your survey:

  • Mission = Purpose
  • Vision = Direction
  • School Improvement Team/Parent Teacher Association = Governing Body
  • School Improvement Plans are how each school works toward continuous improvement.
  • Adult advocates are those who personally know your child and can assess his/her needs.
  • Support Services are provided through Counselors, Social Workers, Military liaisons, the English as a Second Language Department, and the Exceptional Children’s Department.
