Robert Hines, CEO of the United Way and Cody Wigley, Grocery Manager of Publix were responsible for spearheading the effort which resulted in pallets of school supplies being donated to the school system. Volunteers from Publix, along with school social workers will gather at the CCS warehouse to organize the supplies. “We are appreciative because we have so many families who do not have the resources to purchase school supplies, and supplies are beginning to run low,” said Roy Mayhew, a school social worker at Luther Nick Jeralds. #committedcommunity
