It's PI Day! PI=3.141592 written on a chalkboardPi Day is celebrated on March 14th (3/14) around the world. Pi (Greek letter) is the symbol used in mathematics to represent a constant — the ratio of the circumference of a circle to its diameter — which is approximately 3.141592.

Let’s spark excitement around this IRRATIONAL number on Wednesday, 3/14. Tweet pics, videos, etc of your students’ Pi Day experience and include the hashtag #CCSpiday2018 and tag @CCSSecondaryEd to be included in the contest.

We can’t wait to see all of the student engagement!
