The Institute for Community Leadership (ICL) is accepting applications for Class XV (2018-2019), which will start in September. Participants attend seven monthly sessions that highlight such topics as leadership styles, team building, and communications. ICL is a joint community effort that identifies, develops and empowers community members who are able and willing to commit to leadership roles in the Fayetteville/Cumberland County area. In April, ICL will be graduating 35 participants. The program, which is at no cost to participants, is sponsored by the City of Fayetteville, Cumberland County, the Cumberland County Schools, Fayetteville State University, Fayetteville Technical Community College, and Methodist University. Participants must be a Cumberland County resident. The application is available online at www.leadership4us.org. The deadline is July 17.
