School Board Hosts Public Forum To Get Input on Next Superintendent

Public Meeting to be held to get information about what you want in a new superintendent.Fayetteville, NC – The Cumberland County Board of Education is seeking direct input from interested members of the community to assist it in defining the qualities and characteristics of the next superintendent of the Cumberland County Schools (CCS).

The Board of Education is hosting a public forum to hear input and wants to encourage community members to speak at the public forum, scheduled for Thursday, November 30, 2017, from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. in the auditorium of the Educational Resource Center, located at 396 Elementary Drive, Fayetteville, NC 28301.

In addition to the forum, the Board would like to remind parents and other community members to participate in a short community survey that can be accessed and completed online by clicking the survey link on the CCS’ webpage.

CCS’ Next Superintendent: Tell Us What You Think

All surveys must be completed by December 4 with results to be compiled and presented by the North Carolina School Boards Association (NCSBA) at the regular School Board meeting on December 12.
