3rd Annual Money Night for Seniors

Cumberland County School Counselors take it to the next level during their 3rd Annual Money Night for Seniors and their parents.  An event that started with 5 school counselors (Donna Craig; EE Smith High School), Rangel McLaurin (Reid Ross Classical High School), Jennifer Theel (Cumberland International High School), Retired Counselor, Jackie Mardis (Cross Creek Early College High School), and Dr. Tanya Sandidge (Westover High School), is now a Cumberland County School Counselor event.  Elementary, Middle and High School Counselors donated $1,100 prior to the event to award one $100 scholarship to recipient, Alexandria Love; Cumberland International High School, a $250 scholarship to recipient, Allan Williams; Cumberland Polytechnic High School, another $250 scholarship to recipient, Xavier Callejas; EE Smith High School, a $500 scholarship to recipient, Kyasi Ross; Reid Ross Classical High School, and an additional scholarship by Carolina Vascular awarded to recipient, Carrie Williams; Reid Ross Classical High School.  Also in attendance were Beasley Broadcast (Driven 2 Excel), Fayetteville State University Financial Aid/Trio, FTCC, Wells Fargo, Military Recruiters; Army, National Guard, Navy), and Cumberland County Workforce Development to ensure that every student/parent is aware of opportunities after graduation.
