The Elementary Education Department at Fayetteville State University (FSU) is hosting it second annual “Fall in Love with Math, Science and the Arts EXPO 2017,” on Saturday, February 11 from 1:00 – 3:30 p.m. During the event, children PreK-12 and their families will engage in hands-on activities in the areas of Math, Science, Reading, Technology, Engineering, Art and Black History.  Some of the activities will provide opportunities to build and shoot rockets; manipulate a humanlike robot; explore live small animals, such as, worms and bees; be fingerprinted; tour a fire truck; learn fire safety rules and meet firemen; play mini golf and test their math estimation skills; get health tips from the professionals; tour the FSU aquatic Lab and view a show at the FSU planetarium; chat with a local author and many, many more.  There are 50 exhibits for the community enjoy and learn through fun activities. It is our goal that children and their families explore topics, practice skills, build knowledge and fall in love with math, science and the arts during the month of February.

Free admission, giveaways, snacks and parking.
