Student Government Association Leaders Recognized
The student government presidents from each high school attended the board meeting and hosted a reception for school board members. This was an opportunity for student leaders to introduce themselves to the board and share information about their roles.
North Carolina Youth Tobacco Survey
Board approval was given in accordance with the NC Division of Public Health (DPH) and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) for Luther “Nick” Jeralds Middle School, Mac Williams Middle School and Jack Britt High School to conduct the North Carolina Youth Tobacco Survey (NC YTS) on a designated day between October 3 and November 30, 2011.
Cumberland County Schools/Cumberland County Vocational Rehabilitation In-School Work Adjustment Program
The Board approved the In-School Work Adjustment Program Agreement between the Cumberland County Board of Education and the Cumberland County Vocational Rehabilitation. The Agreement will be from July 1, 2011 through June 30, 2012.
